KANSAS DEMOCRATIC LGBT CAUCUS ANNOUNCES PRIMARY ENDORSEMENTS

The Kansas Democratic Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgender Caucus announces its endorsement of the following candidates in the August 5th Democratic Primary:

US Senate- Lee Jones

KS Senate, 5th District- Kelly Kultala

KS Senate, 10th District- Pete Roman

KS Senate, 29th District- Oletha Faust Goudeau

KS House, 24th District- Andy Sandler

KS House, 56th District- Annie Tietze

KS House, 84th District- Inga Taylor

‘This is an exciting election cycle for Kansas LGBT Democrats.’, said Steve Brown, President of the Caucus. ‘This year, we have a good chance to replace several adversarial Democratic and Republican legislators with Democrats who support the Kansas LGBT community. Even more exciting is the fact that this may be the year that an open Lesbian is elected to the Kansas Legislature.’

The Kansas Democratic LGBT Caucus is devoted to advancing equal rights for all people, regardless of sexual orientation or gender identity.
